Acceptable Materials: Clean Inert Materials Allowed — All materials must be clean, dry, nonhazardous, and free from trash or other contamination. Concrete and Masonry: Clean concrete, broken concrete, concrete slabs, concrete footings, concrete curbing, concrete sidewalks, concrete driveways, concrete pavers, cinder blocks, concrete blocks, CMU blocks, bricks, clay bricks, masonry, hardened mortar, hardened grout, and hardened thinset. Rock, Dirt and Landscaping Materials: Clean dirt, clean fill soil, noncontaminated soil, sand, clay, gravel, pea gravel, landscape rock, natural stone, flagstone, river rock, crushed rock, decomposed granite, crushed concrete, aggregate base, and road base. Asphalt and Tile: Hardened asphalt pavement, asphalt driveway material, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, clay roofing tile, concrete roofing tile, and floor tile without wood, carpet, glue, or other attached materials.
Prohibited Materials: Not Allowed in an Inert Load
Wood or pallets, drywall or sheetrock, metal, rebar, wire mesh or scrap metal, roofing shingles, carpet or flooring, plastic or PVC, cardboard or paper, insulation, glass, fiberglass, artificial turf, grass, sod, roots, branches or green waste, household or construction trash, appliances, sinks, toilets or bathtubs, paint, chemicals, oil, fuel or hazardous materials, asbestos-containing materials, contaminated dirt or soil, wet concrete, concrete slurry or concrete washout, and liquids of any kind. Critical Rule: One prohibited item can cause the entire dumpster to be reclassified and billed as a mixed construction-debris load.
